I hold that, the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man." -Mahatma Gandhi-

Mittens is a really a special cat. She was once a feral kitten with whom Patty has been working for 3 years and now she is very affectionate and loving. She's a little talker in a pawsome way. If you talk to her and meow at her, she talks back in this pretty little voice. She loves to have her belly rubbed. She is just a very beautiful and special cat. Mittens will most likely be shy with someone at first, but if she's kept in a quiet room, visited for brief sessions throughout the day for a few days, she's going to be just fine.

By contract, Mittens will be an indoor-only cat and deserves a most excellent home.

She would not do well in a home with active little children or big dogs. She had been living outside most of her young life and dogs were a big threat to her. However! We have a little rescued mixed breed dog who is 16 lb and Mittens just adores this dog. She will soon be comb tested and have her rabies shot as well.
