If you haven’t met Lil Olive and her Facebook Page, you need to!

From her page:

This page began with our Lil Olive, a Puppy Mill survivor.  Olive so sadly passed away and now her Puppy Mill

sisters "speak for those who have no voice"

I got a messaged question from a little boy whose dog had recently passed away and he asked his Mom if his best friend went to heaven....sweetly, his Mom suggested he ask Lil here is Olive's reply…

Hello Caden!  It's me dat Angel Olive!  Imma heard yous bestest friend, Smokey, journeyed on lasty week and yous miss him and wanted to know ifn he went to heaven.  Yous Mommy told me dat a few friends of yous said that dogs do not go to heaven because only beings with souls go to heaven and dat only humans havey dat souls...tho Imma gunna answer your question for yous...Firsty, I want to tell you Imma sorry for dat loss of your bestest friend. Imma know he was a big part of your life!  Yous playing buddy and yous sleeping buddy.  And yous feel lonely, and Imma gunna address dat in this message to you as well.

Caden, how do your furiends know dat dogs/animals havey no soul? What is a soul? It is what makes you, YOU!  It is what made Smokey, SMOKEY.  Hims was not like any other doggy and there will never be  another Smokey... justy like there will never be another you!  Dat reason is because what makey us all different and just who we are, is dat soul insidey us!  We's ALL different and we's all special in our very own way....tho do only humans have dat souls? Imma think not!  All of dat living beings on earth are different in some small way....All of dat living beings on earth are unique and special because we all havey dat soul to make us just who God planned. Special, unique, precious, important.

Heaven is dat perfect place!  It is dat place where there is  no sickness, no sadness, no anger, its Perfection!  Would dat heaven be perfect to humans ifn they were there without their precious pets?  NO!  Dat perfect place dat is called Heaven could not be perfect without ALL of those who we havey loved on earth! And pets fill yous lives with unconditional love. Dat place to cry when needed, dat place to snuggle when chilly, dat one to play with outside, dat one who is always there for yous.  And why is dat?  Because humans are our reasons to breath....humans are who we lovey to dat ends of the worlds...humans are perfect in our eyes and we lovey to be near yous always...tho Heaven wouldn't be dat perfect place for us, without YOUS!

Caden….Your Smokey is not far from yous and hims will let you know, BUT you have to looky and listen, ok?  When yous outside and dat wind blows and yous hear dat leaves rustle, dats Smokey running by!  When yous wake up at night and missy him, but then yous fall back to sleep...dats because Smokey comey down to sleep next to yous.   When yous watching tv on dat couch and you get a bit warm, well, dats Smokey snuggling with you.  Hims has just run ahead of you and turned dat corner. You may not be able to see hims because he turned dat corner, but hims is close.  And Smokey will bring to yous another dog to love....Hims is picking out dat just right pup for yous, and this new pup will lovey yous and yous will lovey him/her.  How can yous love another dog?  Because this new pup will be paw picked justy for you, from your beloved Smokey!

Tho, Caden, do dogs go to Heaven?  Yes they do!  Imma there now and Imma tell yous dat Smokey made it here and hims is running and playing....and hims has visited yous and hims will FOREVER visit yous...After all, Caden,  Dog spelled backward is God...….

To Cadens Mom.....I hope this helps in some small wa

Old dogs don't die; they can't. They've merely run up ahead; they're waiting for us just out of sight. Close your eyes late at night and you may smell his musky odor, or perhaps hear his snuffle from the next room. Pay attention and you may feel his nose on your hand or the back of your calf. When your final day comes, you can go on to meet him; he's never left you and never will, and when you close your eyes for the last time, you'll open them again to be met with his Bright eyes and wagging tail.

Old dogs don't die, at least, not those dogs who take the biggest chunks of our hearts with them when they leave us. Those dogs are inextricably part of our souls, and they go with us wherever we are. Though we may not see them, we know they're there because our heart is still beating; we still breathe, and those of us who have been truly touched by a good dog know our lives really started the day we met them.

Magnificent dogs don't die. They shepherd our dreams and only allow the good ones through the gates of our consciousness. They watch over us much as they did in life, and that moment when we step just barely outside of death or disaster, it's because they moved our feet or they stopped short in front of us as they did in life.

You see, a good dog is something only given to a few people. They are a gift from the universe and, though they're with us only a short time, they never really leave us. They are loyalty and love perfected, and once we are graced with that sort of love we can never lose it. We merely lose sight of it for a time, and that is our fault; for how can love like that ever go away?

It can't. It can't, and it never will. For these brave souls trade their hearts for ours, and they beat together beyond sickness, beyond death. They are ours, and we are theirs, for every sunrise and every sunset, until the sun blazes its last and we once again join the stars.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
